Have your home checked for toxic lead water supply pipes – for free!

There is now a 100% grant available to replace any existing toxic Lead water supply pipe to your home! The grant is available to every household and is not means tested. The grant is valued at €5,000 and in the vast majority of cases, this is more than enough to cover the lead replacement cost, so there is no cost to the home owner!

We remove and replace old toxic lead pipes from your drinking water supply.

Grant Application & Works Process

Step 1

Lead Replacement Ireland will carry out a free survey to establish if the water pipe to your home is made from lead.

Step 2

We provide you with proof of the presence of lead (required for the grant application).

Step 3

We issue a quotation and assist with the grant application paperwork to your local city or county council (who administer the grant).

Step 4

We carry out the lead replacement work with a new polyethylene pipe in a prompt and neat manner. All work is done in compliance with Uisce Éireann specifications.

The Lead Replacement will often result in much improved water pressure in your home.
